Course Summary:
This course provides a general overview of the basic operating principles and theory of Airborne Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) systems. There are two basic types of LIDAR systems, those used for topography and those used for bathymetry. This course will deal mainly with topographic systems and uses.
