Here is a summary of the engineering continuing education requirements mandated by the Examining Board of Architects, Landscape Architects, Professional Engineers, Designers, and Land Surveyors.

Provider approval | The Board does not pre-approve course providers. You can choose Your course provider. |
Course content approval | Up to 13 PDH should be gained through live interaction with an instructor. Up to 2 PDH should be in Ethics. The rest of the PDH hours should be any program with a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee's field of practice. Subject matter which is technical in nature or addresses professional ethics, codes or other similar topics which facilitate the licensee's professional development as a professional engineer and serves to safeguard life, health and property and promote the public welfare. |
No of PDH hours carry over next year | A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried over to the next renewal period. |
Online courses | Accepted, there is no limit on credits earned through online courses. |
